🏑 Competition Conduct

Please remember that this is a social competition with no prizes awarded for winning. While we encourage everyone to enjoy a competitive game, unsocial or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

The person completing the team registration will be considered the team manager and will be responsible for receiving and distributing all relevant competition information to their team.

🛡️ Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of each individual player or their legal guardian and is not the responsibility of Reds Hockey Club.

While not a requirement, players are encouraged to be currently registered with Hockey Australia. Registered members may be covered under Hockey Australia's National Hockey Insurance Program, which includes public liability and personal injury cover, subject to the relevant policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

Personal injury cover can apply to injuries sustained while participating in activities such as official matches, training sessions and other official club activities. The cover may assist with eligible non-Medicare medical expenses and other benefits, subject to applicable limits and conditions.

Please note: Hockey Australia registration does not replace private health or personal insurance, and the insurance program does not cover all medical expenses. For example, Medicare-covered expenses and the Medicare gap cannot be claimed under the personal injury policy.
