OutThere Sailing: Dinghy (05 - 09 October 2026)
Details
Course information
OutThere Sailing is a program that has been specifically designed for teenagers from 12 to 17 years old. OutThere Sailing is perfect for teens who want to try sailing in a non-competitive, social and fun setting (leave your homework onshore)!
The program mainly involves sailing on dinghies, small sailing boats with one, two or three participants on board.
OutThere Sailing 1 introduces participants to sailing and its introductory skills with a focus on having fun with friends. The level 2 programme leverages the same social philosophy and further develops sailing skills acquired from the lower level course. As participants move through to level 3 this programme will enable them to build their confidence and refine their skills to sail autonomously or with friends.
All equipment is included for sailing, including a Personal Flotation Device (life jacket) for each sailor, all you need to bring is sailing clothing and a snack for morning tea.
For OutThere Sailing at NYC, please register for the programme and participants will be graded to level 1,2 or 3 as they progress.
Course fee: $320 + optional 15% NYC sustaining capital fee
The NYC sustaining capital fee supports future investment in our sailing resources. If you do not wish to pay the optional fee to donate to the future of Neddies, you can remove the fee with the discount code 'VOLUNTARY15' at the checkout.
