Green Fleet Coaching Clinic

Schedule:

• 08:30-12:00 Saturday 27 to Monday 29 September - Coaching clinic
• 17:30-18:30 Sunday 28 September - Complimentary BBQ dinner and Q&A with WA Olympians
• From 17:00 Thursday 2 October  - Medal presentation ceremony for Youth Championships

Cost: $100

Max 24 Club Use Boats Participants, Up to 36 Participants

Green Fleet places are limited so don't delay in registering! 

The Green Fleet program targets sailors who have recently completed a Tackers 3 Learn to sail program or equivalent. The focus is on having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing conducted by qualified instructors/foundation coaches and is an ideal way to participate in your first regatta. The Green Fleet coaching clinic is designed to give quality with low ratios and a focus on developing skills. The clinic is for ready to race sailors, not learn to sail level.

A limited number of club boats are available for green fleet sailors who don't have their own boat, these boats are currently all booked, please contact Jade - jade.lane@sailing.org.au if you need further information or place your name on the wait list.

Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.
