North Shore District Softball Association is pleased to invite players to apply to trial for the NSDSA Under 12 Representative & Development Teams. 

Trials will be held on Sunday 2nd February 2025 from 9.00am to 12.00pm at St Ives. The teams will be announced shortly after the trials, with training to commence in mid-February. Training sessions will be held twice a week, usually on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings at St Ives.

Eligibility: 
 
To be eligible to nominate for the NSDSA Under 12 Representative or Development Team, players must be:

• First registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club and registered for the 2024-25 softball membership year before trials commence on Sunday, 2nd February 2025. If you are unsure, please make contact with your club or association registrar.

For the U12 Representative team - players must also be:

• Under 12 years of age, and no younger than 8 years of age, as at 31st December 2025.
• Available for the Under 12 State Championship being held from 2nd to 4th May 2025 - whilst the location is yet to be confirmed by Softball NSW, it will be held in a Regional location.
• Available for the Under 12 State Championship wet weather back up dates from 30th May to 1st June 2025.

For the U12 Development team - players must be:

• Under 12 years of age, and no younger than 8 years of age, as at 31st December 2025.

The U12 Rep Team is primarily for those players turning 10 and 11 in 2025 whilst the U12 Dev Team also includes those players turning 8 and 9 in 2025. Consideration may be given to players from the younger age group for the Rep Team.
