Q&A

Do the u11s require a unique playing number?

NO – the u11s do not play State Championships, therefore do not require a unique number. U11s compete in local and regional tournaments. If numbers are required, the players wear numbered bibs.

Can I wear my older siblings playing shirt?

Each player will be allocated their own unique number (which remains with them whilst they play NSBHA representative hockey). A younger sibling can only wear the older siblings top if this is first checked with the Uniform Officer to ensure there are no clashes with other players in the team.

How do I get my unique playing number?

Once the teams are selected, the Age Co-ordinator will pass on this information to the Uniform Officer. The Uniform Officer will then allocate a number to each player. This information is then supplied to the Age Co-ordinator who in turn will advise the players.

Can I order my Playing Shirt without a number?

NO – please wait for your playing number before ordering the shirt.

Can I contact the manufacturer direct?

NO – this becomes difficult and time consuming if the manufacturer is fielding dozens of phone calls or emails. Please direct any queries to the Uniform Officer in the first instant, or the Age Co-ordinator.

Do Goal Keepers require a number?

YES – usually they are allocated the number 1. If there is more than one keeper per team, then one of the keepers will be allocated 11 or 111.

Who do I contact if I have more questions?

Please contact the NSBHA Uniforms Officer. For 2022 this is Lisa – 0403 823 403.
