Revolt 2025, the annual joint tournament held by Northern Rivers Roller Derby and Tweed Valley Rollers, was held at the fabulous Cavanbah Centre March 22nd and 23rd and was once again a resounding success.

The hard fought tournament was attended this year by teams from Tasmania, New Zealand, Queensland and Victoria as well as a combined regional team created to ensure skaters from regional areas with no active leagues competing did not miss out on the fun.

The win this year was taken out by the fantastic crew from Geelong Roller Derby in their first showing at Revolt meaning they will be back next year to defend their title and that fabulous lighthouse Trophy.

This fun and welcoming tournament has gained a great reputation and always attracts lots of leagues looking for an opportunity for their up and coming skaters to experience a tournament with a strong focus on development and support and this year was no exception with 12 teams applying for the 4 available places with the other two spots taken up for the combined River Valley Rollers team and the defending champions and with all profit from the event going to local charity Kids in Need it is an amazing opportunity to enjoy the sport we love and give back at the same time.

Revolt 2026 is already in the works and we can't wait.
