Round Two

Div 2

A great game for our Div 2 team, ending in a draw with Glen Waverley/GEMSA 11-11.

Well done to all!  

WE want to give a massive shout out to Iyla and Will who hit home runs in consecutive at bats! Will with his second in two weeks.

Div 1

Tough game for our Div 1 team, who are still working into the season with a couple of players to come back from injury soon! 

This team really put it all into the game, a big team effort for our first proper game of the season, against the top team.

U13 

The Under 13s kicked off their season after a first round bye with an exciting 14-12 win over the Ejays.

Gwen and Max led the way with outstanding pitching and catching, while the team showed sharp fielding skills, tagging out runners and keeping the pressure on. 

Camden shined in the outfield in his first game, stopping everything that came his way. 

A strong team effort at the plate saw plenty of solid hits, making for a fantastic start to the season!

Open 2

With most of our team playing their second game in Open 2, it feels like we have settled in really well! 

Cindy and Sharni pushed hard with some great pitching, and a big shout out to Lucy behind the plate for the first time in the Open age group, she did an amazing job controlling the game and holding the runners. 

Some really solid hitting by everyone in the team, unfortunately we just didnt hit the gaps and left a couple of runs on base. 

In the field, some great catches and chases in the outfield and a clean game by the infield made the game feel a lot closer than it is on paper.

This team feels like we are improving every innings, and the support everyone has for each other really stands out.

Open 4 - Bye

Open 3

The rain threatened as we delivered a great run-ahead win against Raiders, featuring a home run from Kenny, great pitching from Ruth and solid team batting with Liz, Sarah-Lee and Dana all batting 1000.

Some interesting base running and a stylish home plate entry from Amber were the highlights of this one!
