NCHA Junior Country Championships

Parent Helper EOI

We are seeking volunteers to assist with coaching, managing, and helping as parent assistants for the NCHA Junior Country Championships (JCC). Your support is essential for the success of this event, and we encourage you to get involved.

Adult Roles: Coach, Manager, Assistant

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the registration form by selecting your preferred role (and second choice if applicable). The adult registration form is separate from the player registration.

To continue competing in this event, we need enough adults to fill the required roles. Each team will have a coach, team manager, and at least two parent helpers. The cost for adults to attend the JCC is $220, with a $50 deposit due at the time of registration. The final payment must be made to your club’s JCC Coordinator by Friday, April 24.

Hoodies and Supporter Wear

For the past few years, players representing NCHA at the Junior Country Championships have worn red hoodies with the NCHA logo embroidered on them. We recommend that all players purchase a hoodie to unify the teams and help with easy recognition. Adults attending the JCC weekend also have the option to purchase a hoodie or a zip hoodie version.

• Zip Hoodies (Adults only): $60

Sizes:

• Adults (Men’s sizing): S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 5XL

• Zip Hoodie (Ladies sizing): 12L-Z, 14L-Z, 16L-Z

• Zip Hoodie (Men’s sizing): S-Z, M-Z, L-Z, XL-Z, 2XL-Z, 3XL-Z, 4XL-Z

Please check with your club’s JCC Coordinator to see if any second-hand hoodies are available.

Additionally, red NCHA supporter caps and beanies are available for purchase as an optional extra:

• Beanies: $15 (one size fits all)

• Caps:$15 (one size fits all)

Training, Information & Uniform Fitting Session

Training for all teams will be held on Sunday, May 3, and will include:

• Goalie session and hockey training with experienced turf coaches

• Three 45-minute sessions, including two with specialist coaches and one session with your team coach and uniform fitting.

• Team meeting with players, coach, manager and parent helpers

• Location: Charlton College tennis courts/synthetic turf area and Charlton Hockey Field

• Who: All players, team managers, coaches, and parent helpers.
