Good evening,

Welcome back to another glimpse into all that happens on the turf!  Firstly, we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down and supported, played and was part of our wonderful Cancer Awareness Round.  Thanks to the generosity of our hockey community and the LGSHA, it was a wonderful day with all funds raised going to Albany Community Hospice. Thank you to Spencer park who hosted a wonderful day!

Our Women’s A Grade team won 1-2 in a hard-fought match played in honour of Jo Burling. Meanwhile, our Mens A drew 2-2 in another nail biting game.  It was just wonderful to see so much support, thank you all!

Our results from last week were something to be proud of, well tried to all of our teams, such a great effort!

 

AWARDS NIGHT

As the seaon comes to an end we are starting to prepare for our wind up and awards nights.  The Lower Great Southern Awards night is being hosted by the Griffins club this year and sounds like its going to be a great night!  Get in early to take advantage of the early bird tickets, or better yet see if you can get your whole team involved for a discount!!

 

 

NORTH ALBANY WIND UP

Speaking of wind ups.  Our very own one is in the process of being organised.  Please pencil Saturday the 18th of October into your diaries.  This will be after the School holidays and Im sure it will be a great afternoon, full of fun and games! What a way to celebrate a wonderful season of Hockey!

 

 

As we head into our semi finals, we would like to wish all of our teams the very best of luck.  If you are looking for something to do please head down to support our teams.  We would love to see and hear you in the stands as we get closer to our grand finals!
