Good Evening!

Im terribly sorry for the late newsletter this week.  It has certainly been a busy one.  Last weekend was the CBH womens country week which went off with a bang and I managed to get my hands on a sneaky pic of one of the teams!!  Well done to these strong woman whe enttered the Masters Div 1 and who finished 3rd! Have look at all those familiar faces... Well done ladies!!

All the best to the mens teams who are making the journey this weekend, we wish you all the very bestof luck, no doubt you will have a memorable weekend!

On another positive note, we are all so aware of how important our umpires are, and how so many of them are still learning.  It is always important to remember that without them these games are not possible, and hopefully we can all try to nurture them into confident umpires in the future.  We recieved the following email from the Junior umpire coordinator, Vicky:

I just want to applaud your coaches effort and support to the junior umpires in tonight’s 789 girls game.
There was a goal awarded that shouldn’t have been, due to not carrying it five and taking a shot at goal from outside the D that was then knocked in by the goalie The umpires quickly communicated with each other and took back the goal and made their call as to what happened after that. The junior umpires are learning (but do a good job) and that was messy as multiple infringements applied but I thank the coaches for not overly reacting and being respectful to them.
So thank you.
