The season is fast approaching! Training kicks off this Wednesday from 4:30–5:30pm for our primary school players. Please ensure all players have shin pads and mouthguards for training.

We have entered two teams this year in the 2/3/4s and 5/6s. After our first training session, we’ll look to split the kids into two evenly balanced teams, while also considering friendships. Once teams are finalised, we’ll set up communication through the Heja app.

We are still looking for a couple more players in each age group, so if your child has any friends who might be interested, please encourage them to come along!

Uniforms will be distributed at training next week (29th April). Playing shirts and shorts/skorts are provided as part of your fees. However, club socks ($20 per pair) will need to be purchased. Club hoodies and beanies will also be available to buy on the day.

Coaches for this season are:

• 2/3/4s: Matt Gillfellon and Dan Smith
• 5/6s: Toby Tweddle and Stella Gordon

Each team will also need a team manager. It’s not a time-consuming role, so please consider volunteering. Feel free to speak to Toby or Dan at training if you’d like more information.

For first-time players, stick kits (stick, shin pads, and ball) are expected to be provided by the association. I’m working to have these available by Wednesday. If not, we’ll have spare sticks for new players to use.

Games will begin on Saturday, May 2nd, and will be played Saturday mornings.
