School Holiday Update

Yes... your newsletter writer is also enjoying school holiday mode! 😄
So, apologies for the slightly shorter, picture-free edition this week. While our camera roll (and motivation to chase everyone for photos!) is taking a little holiday too, we still wanted to keep everyone up to date with what's happening around the club.
We hope all of our North Albany Hockey Club families are enjoying a wonderful school holiday break!
A huge congratulations to all of our boys and girls who have travelled to Perth to compete in the Fuel to Go & Play Hockey Carnivals. We hope you've all had an amazing time, made new friends, learnt plenty and created memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to hear all about your adventures when you're back!
We'd also like to wish all of our players and teams travelling to the Narrogin Hockey Carnival next weekend the very best of luck. Sure... you'll be wearing yellow and green for the weekend 😉, but we'll still be proudly cheering on our red and grey North Albany players as you represent not only Lower Great Southern, but our club as well. Play hard, make memories, have plenty of laughs... and please, please send us some photos! We'd love to share your adventures in our next newsletter.
🚨 Umpires Needed for the Narrogin Hockey Carnival!
The Lower Great Southern Hockey Association is urgently looking for umpires for this weekend's Narrogin Hockey Carnival.
If you're a parent, older sibling, player or hockey supporter with umpiring experience (or you're happy to lend a hand), your help would be greatly appreciated.
💰 Umpires will be paid $25 per game (cash).
If you can help, or know someone who can, please get in touch with Jessamy Case, Hockey Development Officer, as soon as possible. Every extra umpire makes a huge difference and helps ensure all of our teams can enjoy a fantastic weekend of hockey.
With so many of our players away, things have been a little quieter than usual on our home turf. Here are the results from last week's matches:

Our junior and school competitions return once Term 3 begins, with fixtures resuming from the week commencing Monday 20 July. We can't wait to welcome everyone back to the turf for another exciting half of the season.
