🏑 Welcome to Round 12! 🏑
Well, here we are — Round 12 has arrived! The season is flying by, and by now the muscles might be feeling a little tired, the legs might take a little longer to warm up, and we’re all starting to wonder where the weeks have gone!
But guess what? We’re still here! Our teams are still training, still turning up, still learning, improving and giving it their all each week.
If this is you — give yourself a pat on the back! 👏
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in our Cancer Round last week. Whether you pulled on the boots and took to the turf, cheered from the sidelines, volunteered your time, or simply grabbed a coffee and helped support the cause — it was all appreciated.
It was fantastic to see a sea of pink ribbons, pink socks and even pink cupcake frosting around the grounds. The support and community spirit on display was a wonderful reminder of what makes North Albany such a special club.
Thank you to all of our players, families, supporters and volunteers for helping make the day such a success.

A huge well done to all of our teams who took to the turf last week. It was fantastic to see so many players involved, continuing to develop their skills, showing great teamwork and representing North Albany with plenty of enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

🏑 Cecelia Gilfellon
Congratulations to Cecelia Gilfellon on being recognised as our Player of the Week!
Cecelia had a fantastic game, showing great effort, determination and a willingness to step up and get involved. Her positioning on the field was excellent, finding herself in some great spots and making a real impact throughout the game.
It was wonderful to see Cecelia backing herself, giving everything a go and playing with a fantastic attitude. Her hard work, positive energy and that big smile on the field made her a very deserving recipient this week.
Well done, Cecelia — keep backing yourself and bringing that great North Albany spirit!
Round 12 Fixtures – Another Big Weekend of Redback Hockey!
This weekend is shaping up to be another fantastic weekend of hockey, with plenty of North Albany teams hitting the turf.
We have a great mix of senior and junior hockey ahead, with some exciting match-ups across the weekend.
⭐ A special highlight this round is our junior Redbacks taking on each other! ⭐
Our 3/4 Redbacks and 3/4 Grey teams will go head-to-head, along with our 5/6 Grey and 5/6 Redbacks teams. These games are a wonderful opportunity for our young players to put their skills into practice, support their teammates and enjoy being part of the North Albany hockey family.
We would love to see plenty of supporters down at the turf, cheering on all of our players.

Hookin2Hockey is underway!
It’s not too late to register your little ones and introduce them to the fun of hockey!

We’re also looking for a couple more Years 7–12 volunteers to help with sessions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build leadership skills while helping our newest hockey players learn and enjoy the game.
