A Big Weekend Ahead for the Redbacks! 💗

What a fantastic week it has been for our North Albany Redbacks, with teams back on the turf, plenty of great hockey being played and lots to celebrate across the club.

This weekend is set to be a very special one as we come together for the Cancer Awareness Round. We encourage all of our players, families and supporters to wear pink, get involved and help us show our support for those impacted by cancer.

With a huge day of hockey ahead, from our youngest Redbacks through to our senior teams, we can't wait to see our hockey community out in force, cheering from the sidelines and creating another fantastic atmosphere at the turf.

💗 Cancer Awareness Round – Sat 1 August 💗

This Saturday we come together as a hockey community for our annual Cancer Awareness Round, proudly hosted by Spencer Park Hockey Club.

Wear pink, show your support and help us honour the memories of Jo Burling and Kellie York, whose courage and legacy continue to inspire us all.

With hockey all day, fundraising, raffles and plenty of opportunities to get involved, we’d love to see our North Albany family there supporting this special day.

Redbacks Ready for Another Big Weekend!

What a fantastic week of hockey it has been for our North Albany Redbacks!

After a busy return to the turf following the school holidays, it has been wonderful to see our teams back out there enjoying their hockey, supporting each other and representing our club with plenty of pride.

A huge well done to all of our junior teams who took to the turf last week. It was fantastic to see so many players getting involved, developing their skills and showing great teamwork and sportsmanship.

🏑 Molly Kerr

Congratulations to Molly Kerr on being recognised as our Player of the Week!

Molly is a fantastic example of determination and commitment on the field. A fierce little competitor who gives everything she has, Molly never shies away from a challenge and always plays with plenty of heart and enthusiasm.

Her willingness to work hard, chase every opportunity and support her teammates makes her a valuable part of our team.

Well done, Molly — keep bringing that Redback spirit!

🏑 Round 11 Fixtures – A Big Weekend of Redback Hockey!

This weekend is shaping up to be another fantastic weekend of hockey, with plenty of North Albany teams hitting the turf.

Saturday is set to be a huge club day, with our junior Redbacks kicking things off in the morning before our senior women take centre stage in the afternoon.

We would love to see as many supporters as possible come down, wear their red and grey, grab a coffee and cheer our teams on from the sidelines.

Bring the family, bring your friends, and help create a fantastic atmosphere for our players!

1. Hockey Quiz Night – Get Your Team Together!

It’s time to test your hockey knowledge, gather your mates and enjoy a fantastic night of trivia, pizza, prizes and plenty of laughs!

Whether you’re a hockey fanatic, a trivia champion, or just love yelling answers across the table, everyone is welcome. Bring your family, friends and teammates for a great night supporting our hockey community.

2. Junior Umpire Development Program

Want to give umpiring a go or build your confidence with the whistle?

Join nationally accredited umpire Carl Mueller on Sunday, 9 August at Albany Hockey Stadium for a junior umpire development session.

With beginner and continued learning sessions available, it’s a great opportunity to develop skills, confidence and learn more about the game.

 3. Hookin2Hockey

Got a little someone who’s ready to give hockey a go?

Hookin2Hockey is the perfect introduction for young players, with fun activities designed to build confidence, coordination and basic hockey skills.

No experience needed — just come ready to learn, play and have fun!
