Round 1 of Junior Competition is this weekend.
12s/14s/16s - Saturday 23 May 11:30am - 7:00pm
Youth League - Sunday 24 May 9:00am - 3:00pm

Game Structure
12s, 14s & 16s Games will be played in a half width pool, 5 a side.
2x10min running time halves with 2 min break at half time (teams won’t swap ends to help speed
up games) in 30min time slots, No shot clocks will be used, Teams will play 3 games per day.
Youth League Games are played in a full field, 7 a side.
4 x 6-minute quarters running time - Shot clocks will be used, Teams will play 3 games per day.
Duty Teams
We require each team to supply 1 person to do table for their OWN game.

5:30pm - 6:30pm swim sets U14s, U16s, Youth League
6:45pm - 7:45pm U12s/U14s Girls and Boys Training
Thursday
5:30pm - 6:30pm swim sets U14s, U16s, Youth League
6:45pm - 7:45pm U16s Boys Training
6:45pm - 7:45pm YLW training

Keen to Referee This Winter?
Winter is a great time to start refereeing, as it is a less competitive environment, and WPACT offers referee workshops for beginners and developing referees.
New referees are encouraged.
Expressions of Interest are now open for referees for Round 1 of the WPACT Winter Competition (23–24 May).

Referee Workshop (Compulsory)
Saturday 23 May 9:30am – 11:00am AISConference Centre in the Silver room.
The workshop will cover season info, payments, and key updates, along with a session led by Don Cameron. All referees are expected to attend.
CONGRATULATIONS ALEX PUNZMANN
Alex has been selected to represent Australia at the U16 World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia this July/August - an incredible achievement.
Alex has been part of the Nordek and ACT water polo community for 8 years, and this opportunity is the result of years of hard work, early mornings, and commitment in the pool.
As part of the tour, Alex will attend multiple national training camps and a pre-tour camp, with costs covering travel, accommodation, competition fees, and uniforms.
We’re asking our Nordek community to get behind Alex and support his journey. Every contribution, big or small, will go directly towards helping him representing Australia overseas as he takes on some of the best young players from across the world - and all donations are tax deductible.
