There are a few things to tick off in preparation for Grand Final Day on Saturday.

1. Team Lists

Clubs please update team lists (including cap numbers) in RevSport to reflect who will play in the grand final by 9 am Thursday, 21st March 2024. This is to ensure we have the correct program and scorecards.

2. Table Duty

Clubs are reminded to source 2 competent table officials for each game your club is represented. These table officials are not to yell out during the game and should act in a neutral manner.

3. Team Benches

Only players and team management (max of 3) listed in RevSport are permitted to be on the bench during the game. All other spectators are expected to be sitting in the grandstand.

4. Spectator Seating

Spectators are only permitted to be seated in the grandstand on the entrance side of the pool. Only officials are permitted to sit in the grandstands on the clock side of the pool.

5. Line-ups

Line-ups will occur 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. Teams are to line up in cap order on the clock side of the pool. Teams should line up on the opposite side of their bench to allow teams to shake hands before the game.

6. Tied games

If games are tied, a penalty shootout will occur. Teams are to supply 5 shooters that will line up with the first shooter closest to halfway. Teams will shoot towards the goal near their bench, meaning goalkeepers will swap ends.

7. Presentations

Trophies and medals for both winners and runners-up will be given out at the end of the game. If the weather is nice, we will do this outside; otherwise, we will do it at the entrance of the 50m pool, just look for the media wall.

8. BBQ

Canberra Kraken will be running a fundraising BBQ for their Australian Country Championships tour. We will promote this later in the week through the program and social media channels.
