Sailing, Kayaking and Social Club News 2025-2026 season
Hello Members & Friends of Nagambie Lakes Sailing & Kayaking Club.
The Committee and several keen sailing, kayaking and social Members met on Sunday 27th July to make plans for the Club for the next 'season'.
The meeting decided to resume the weekly social sailing days every Sunday, from 10am, at the lake-side Club Boatshed / Clubhouse. The season runs from Oct to April.
All welcome, with all manner of privately owned water-craft & social activity ideas.
The Club has one sailing boat which requires an experienced sailing skipper, who can take a club member as crew. The Club is not planning to offer sail rides to the public.
Remember:
Club Social Dinner (occasional) Friday Nights at the Rowing Club Bistro.
The Kayaking Group meets 9am Wednesdays at the Club boatshed.

MEMBERSHIP FEE
The meeting decided to drop the "Sailing Member" annual fee of $150 and replace it with a 'Sailing Fee' of $5 per private boat per sailing day.
All Members will now join as a "Social Member" at an annual fee of $50.
This is due now, for the financial year 2025-2026.

Please note, Nagambie club is working closely with Waranga and Shepparton sailing clubs to support each other.
Nagambie Club Members are invited to attend Waranga and Shepparton clubs to participate in their sailing and social activities. This provides our Members with a wide range of sailing experiences, that the Nagambie club is not able to offer at this stage. Contact John Hardy for further details, mob. 0417596940.
I am taking a break from the sailing club for the remainder of 2025 to spend time with my family. Club Administration and Club Activity Days will be managed by the Club Committee and Crew.
The Kayaking Group communicates about their weekly kayaking plans via a "WhatsApp" group. This works very well.
The Sailing Crew will set up a "WhatsApp" Sailing Group to communicate arrangements for each Sunday. As Members rejoin for 2025-2026, you will be added to the WhatsApp group.
