Who doesn't love a Rutherglen regatta?  This one is normally held in early January when the mercury has soared to blistering heights but looks like we're getting a reprieve as the event has been moved to October where the weather should be much more manageable.  One thing that hasn't changed is the slight bend in the course and a smattering of buoys so nobody has any idea what lane they're in - even the coxswain who's facing the right way!  And yet we all keep signing up every year to come back for more.  A fun weekend to get out there regardless of your experience level, a great low-stress event for the novice first-timer and a great chance to catch up with rowing mates if you've been at this for years!
