What a huge season it’s been for MRSC — and now we’re heading into FINALS!🥎🔥

Congratulations to all teams on a fantastic season and on making it through to the final weeks of competition. There’s a lot happening to close out the season, so please read the overview below carefully. There are three (3) ACTION NEEDED items that require responses this week.

We know there’s been plenty of communication from MRSC and SSA recently, so this post is a simple end-of-season wrap-up with key dates, duties, and reminders to make sure finals run smoothly for everyone.

📅Tuesday 17th March – Finals Series Volunteer Call Out ACTION NEEDED

Event Set-Up

• Each club must provide a minimum of four (4) representatives to assist with event set-up for both the Semi Finals and Grand Final
• Set-up starts 11:30am to ensure everything is ready for the first game at 1:45pm
• Please let your Team Rep/Coach know by Tuesday 17th March which week you can volunteer (name and email required)

Canteen Support
We require canteen volunteers from ALL teams for the semi-finals on Saturday 21st

• 1:00pm – 3:30pm → Ratpack & Ressi Rats
• Minimum of 2 volunteers from EACH team
• 3:30pm – close (approx. 6:30pm) → Outlaws & Vixens
• Minimum of 2 volunteers from EACH team

If we get more than the minimum, we can split shifts (around 1–1.5 hrs instead of 2.5–3 hrs).

Please let your Team Rep/Coach know by Tuesday 17th March (name and email required).

Thank you in advance for your support. Finals are always a fantastic way to close out the season, and with everyone helping out we can make sure the day runs smoothly for players, officials, and spectators. If you haven’t done a duty yet this season, this is a great chance to get around the club and support MRSC & SSA.

📅Wednesday 18^th March - EOI due for funded training provided by SSA

📅Thursday 19^th March – EOI due for Smash FM radio interview ACTION NEEDED

📅 Friday 20^th March – U12 Juniors Grand Final

Both MRSC U12 Juniors teams, Macedon Mavericks and Reservoir Ratbag,s play off in the Grand Final this Friday 20/03. The game starts 6.30pm and U12 and U14 presentations to follow. Please come down to support and see how far our juniors have come this season with their skills and game play.

Game One 1.45pm - 1v4

• Vixens v Calder Dragons Women
• Outlaws v Goonawarriors Men

Game Two 3.45pm - 3v4

• Reservoir Rats v Goonawarriors Women
• Reservoir Ratpack v Calder Dragons Men

📅 Monday 23^rd March – Final day to purchase tickets to Sunbury Softball Association Presentation Night ACTION NEEDED
