🥋 Junior Intermediate Karate – Ages 10+
This class is designed for junior students aged 10 and above who have progressed beyond beginner level and are ready to further develop their karate skills. It is suitable for students holding an Orange Stripe, Orange, Green, or Purple Belt.

This intermediate-level class focuses on strengthening core fundamentals, refining technique and control, and developing more advanced kata, kumite, and combinations. As students progress, training becomes more technical and structured, helping them build speed, accuracy, timing, and confidence.

For Purple Belt students, this class also introduces more advanced techniques, combinations, and performance expectations to prepare them for higher-level training and the transition into advanced junior and senior classes.

Students who do not hold an Orange Stripe or higher must obtain approval from the Club Coordinator, Laurel, before registering for this class.

Important for Intermediate Students: 
Students enrolled in Intermediate classes are strongly encouraged to also attend Beginner classes. While Intermediate training introduces more advanced karate, continued practice of kihon, basic kata, and structured kumite is essential for refining technique, improving balance and power, and building strong, correct habits. The best karateka continually return to their basics — this is where true improvement happens.
