Executive and Committee Nominations
As part of the AGM, several executive and committee positions are open for election. We encourage members to consider nominating and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Club.The positions that will be declared vacant are included in the nomination form.

Please complete your nominations by 8:30 pm on Thursday, 8 October 2026.

Nomination Requirements:

• Nominees must be registered members
• Each nomination must be supported by the nominee and two other members at the meeting or via email (this can be included in a single email)
• Nominations can also be taken during the AGM only for:
• Positions that have received no nominations by 8:30pm on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
• Positions where no nominee receives a majority vote of members present.
• General Committee positions

Additional AGM Business:

• Members may submit notices of motion for inclusion as special business by 8:30pm on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
• Nominations for Life Membership, including a summary of the nominee's distinguished service to the Club, must also be received by 8:30pm on Thursday, 8 October 2026.

Immediately following the AGM, a Special General Meeting will be held to consider and vote on the following proposed amendments to the Constitution:

1. Amendment to Section 28.4 – Accounts Conclusive

To include a specified financial year-end date for the preparation of the Club's financial statements.

Current wording:

The statements of account, when approved or adopted by an annual general meeting, shall be conclusive except when errors have been discovered within three months after such approval or adoption.

Proposed wording:

The statements of account, when approved or adopted by an annual general meeting, shall be conclusive except when errors have been discovered within three months after such approval or adoption. These statements shall be prepared with a year end of 31 March.

2. Amendment to Section 5.1(d) – Junior Members

To provide voting and meeting rights to one guardian of a Junior Member.

Current wording:

Junior Members, who subject to this Constitution, shall have no right to receive notice of General Meetings and no right to be present or debate or vote at General Meetings.

Proposed wording:

Junior Members, who subject to this Constitution, shall have no right to receive notice of General Meetings and no right to be present, debate or vote at General Meetings. One (1) guardian of a Junior Member shall have the right to receive notice of General Meetings and the right to be present, debate and vote at General Meetings.
