2026 WA RS Aero State Championships

Join us at Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026 for the WA RS Aero State Championships!

Enjoy two days of competitive sailing on Comet Bay, with up to seven races scheduled across the weekend. Entries are welcome from RS Aero 5, 6, 7 and 9 sailors, with divisions subject to entry numbers.

Venue: Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club, 115 Breakwater Parade, Mandurah
Racing area: Comet Bay
Entry fee: $50 per boat, including GST

Enter by 11:59 pm on Friday 20 November to avoid the additional $25 late entry fee. Late entries may be accepted at the Organising Authority’s discretion until 5:00 pm on Friday 27 November 2026.

Weekend schedule

Saturday 28 November

• 8:30–9:30 am: Registration at the Hook Café

• 9:30 am: Competitors’ briefing

• 10:30 am: First warning signal — morning session

• 2:10 pm: First warning signal — afternoon session

Sunday 29 November

• 9:30 am: Competitors’ briefing at the Hook Café

• 10:30 am: First warning signal

• 3:30 pm: Trophy presentation at the Sundowner Bar

Entry requirements

Competitors must:

• Be current financial members of an Australian Sailing affiliated club and the Australian RS Aero Association.

• Provide a current Australian Sailing number.

• Hold valid boat third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of $10 million, and provide a certificate of currency at registration.

• Have a current Australian Sailing Special Regulations equipment audit form lodged with their home club, available upon request.

• Provide signed parent/guardian consent if aged 17 or under on 27 November 2026.
