Discover Sailing Days are a fantastic way to have a great day out with your partner, friends, work colleagues or family, are free to attend and all sailing dinghies and safety equipment are provided by the Club. All you need to bring is clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet, sun screen and a hat. 

We look forward to showing you just how fun, safe, accessible and affordable Sailing is. 

Provisions & Disclaimers

To participate in this event, the registered person/s MUST:

• be comfortable wearing a life jacket
• be able to swim unaided
• be aware the Club may contact you after the event for feedback and/or news of future events
• be aware that the Club may take photographs, unless you expressly disallow it
• follow all instructions issued by the event holders or persons in charge of the dinghies associated with the event including support vessels

Risk Disclosure:  Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club wishes to inform you that it will take all measures to ensure the safety of all participants, however you should be aware that there are risks involved in the sport of sailing..  These risks may include: drowning, major or minor physical injury, sunburn, heat stress, insect or animal bites or stings.   It is the participants responsiblity to ensure that suitable supervision is provided to ensure that children comply with directions.

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
