Registration for this course closes at Sun 12 Jan 2025 17:00.

Monday to Tuesday 09:00 - 14:00 with a break on Wednesday, and continuing Thursday and Friday 09:00 - 14:00

The Youth ‘OutThere Sailing’ program is specifically designed for High School Teens!

Have FUN on the water, stay active & try something NEW!

Out There Sailing 1 is a great introduction to sailing and skills required on the water with a focus on fun with friends. The program provides a wide variety of on water activities that will give you an introduction to sailing dinghies and keelboats and an opportunity to experience stand up paddle boarding and power boating. You will learn these skills through exciting exercises and put them to good use in fun on water activities.

  • $80 per student  (Course fees subsidised by the WA Government)

  • 20 hours of tuition

  • Full personal insurance

All equipment provided. High Instructor to student ratios. Safety is our #1 priority! All we ask is that your teen is water confident.

Receive a National OutThere Sailing Certificate upon course completion

 


Overview

OutThere Sailing 1 is a great introduction to the sport of sailing and the skills required but will still focus on fun with friends. The program provides a wide variety of on water activities that will introduce sailing and, depending on your club, an opportunity to experience stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing and power boating. You will learn skills through exciting exercises and put them to good use in fun, on-water activities.

Prerequisites

Water confident.

Who should do this program?

This program is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with others whilst sailing.
