The moment has finally arrived. The rivalries are real, the bragging rights are on the line, and there is absolutely everything to play for.
The inaugural Maccabi NSW Golf Interclub Championship descends on the magnificent Mercure Koowindah Waters Golf Resort on the 2nd and 3rd of May, and for the first time ever, eight of NSW's most storied golf clubs will settle their differences the only way that matters, on the golf course.
Eight teams. Four players each. Two rounds. One team will be crowned Champion.
Monash, Bonnie Doon, St Michaels, The Lakes, NSW Golf Club, The Australian, Woollahra and East Lakes will each send their finest to the tee, carrying the hopes, the pride and the honour of their entire club membership on their shoulders. Friends off the course will become fierce rivals on with the competitive nature being put to the test as teammates bound together by the singular goal of hoisting the first ever Interclub title.
Long-standing club rivalries that have been simmering for years will finally be put to the test in the most meaningful way possible. No more debating at the 19th hole about which club reigns supreme as this weekend, it gets decided on the fairways and greens of Koowindah Waters.
Two rounds. No hiding. No excuses.
