Hello everyone and welcome to the 2026/2027 Softball Season.
We have many new members this year and we look forward to meeting you tomorrow afternoon where you will have the opportunity to:
- Discuss uniform requirements with Liz Moore
- Chat about your equipment requirements with Liz Fortune
- Have a chance to meet some players from your grade
- Sneak in some throw and batting practice.
Date: Wednesday 30 September 2026 Start time: 5pm End time : wind up by 6.30 Where: Softball grounds Passage Tree Road Bateau Bay (right down the end of the street) Bring: Water, hat (30 degrees expected), your softball glove and helmet (if you already have them)
Mindful it is school holidays so if you cannot make it that is fine. Just email mingara.rebels.softball@gmail.com and we can you started. Dont panic though if you dont have full uniform the first 3 weeks. Our Central Coast Softball Assoctiation understands that our club is working hard behind the scenes to get everyone kitted out.
What you will need though is a softball glove and a helmet. Remember if you throw right handed then you catch the ball using your left hand with your glove. Juniors must wear shinguards to take the field it is mandatory.
Looking forward to seeing those that can make it.
Training does start officially next Wednesday 7 October and your coaches will be in touch to confirm time and duration.
Many hands make light work so if you can help out in any way it will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Mingara Rebels Softball Club Committee
