PLAYER SPONSORSHIP
Metro - All for one, and one for ball. 

Here at Metro Softball Club, we are dedicated to providing the sports of Softball to the local community regardless of age, ability, gender, religion or socioeconomic status. We understand that the past few years have been one hell of a whirlwind, and know there are several members within the softball community who have been hit hard by the effects of COVID-19 and/or are struggling financially. 

For the 2023 - 2024 season, Metro Softball Club has enlisted the help of some generous local businesses and families, all of whom want to ensure that the sport we all love is accessible to all. Through their support, this will allow the club to provide a limited number of 'Player Sponsorship' opportunities to players who would otherwise be unable to play the sport this season.

WHAT DOES IT COVER? This sponsorship would cover either half or full seasons registration fees for the 2023 - 2024 season with Metro Softball Club. You can also apply for the one-off cost of essential playing equipment such as a glove, socks, playing shoes or add-ons like a club cap or visor*.  
WHO CAN APPLY? This is open to anyone in our community, regardless of age, previous playing ability or current club association. 
CAN I HELP OUT? Yes! We are actively looking for more sponsorship to ensure demand is met. See below...

If you are interested in applying for player sponsorship, please email metrosoftballnz@gmail.com with the following:
DOB  (If a junior player)      |    Intended playing grade(s) for the season      |     Level of Sponsorship required (Full / half / equipment)

Please note that ALL applications will remain completely confidential, and player anonymity will remain if selected.
