Learn to Play - In-House
This course is designed for squash players looking to begin informal and friendly competitive play.
The course covers more advanced techniques related to serving, volleying, and the use of walls and angles and focuses on the development of longer rallies, tactics for winning points, and further introducing players to others at Melbourne University Squash Club.
A player suited to Learn to Play - In-House is one that:
- has typically undertaken Learn to Play - Social and then developed the skills learned in that program across a few months of social play with friends or at Melbourne University Squash Club Social Squash;
- can successfully serve the ball;
- maintain a rally of 3-5 shots;
- move competently to the front and the back of the court; and
- successfully be able to hit the ball both from and to the back half of the court.
Equipment:
- Water bottle.
- Towel.
- Outfit you're happy to run around in.
- We will provide a racket for all participants (you aren't required to bring a racket).

- The club Squash Courts are located in the Nona Lee Sports Centre, Tin Alley
