The Birdie Telfer Memorial Trophy- Golf Croquet Doubles 2026 Marrickville Croquet Club has reimagined the Birdie Telfer Memorial event in a format relevant for today, and the future. Established in 1990, to acknowledge Birdie Telfer, Secretary of the Club from 1967-1983, this historically prestigious invitational Association Croquet event was aimed to encourage emerging female players.

For 2026 we are looking to the future. The event will be run as an invitational Golf Croquet Women’s Doubles for GC players who are keen to play and improve their game. The Final, Block winner vs Block runner-up, will be played 1pm on Saturday May 2nd, 2026, as part of a day of broader celebration at the Club.
