The Course is open to children who have fairly recently completed Tackers 3, and aims to further develop the sailing skills introduced in the Tackers Program. 

Green fleet program develops confidence and independence in sailing. The Green Fleet coaching program delivered by Australian Sailing accredited Coaches, promotes practicing fundamental skills and introduces foundation race skills. Competition at this stage, if offered will be in modified introductory formats with clear outcomes of enjoyment. 

Sailors may investigate buying a boat or continue to access club or class owned equipment during this course - the Maroochy's Club Optis will be available as as part of this Course.

This Course will run over 7 Sunday mornings, 9.15am to 12noon, commencing Sunday 14 July, with 7 sessions over the next 8 Sundays! Exact dates to be confirmed at a later date.

It will build upon the skills developed in Tackers 1 - 3, and previous Green Fleet Training. 

Instructors will be from our Australian Sailing Qualified team. 

Cost of the Course will be $210 which includes the use of the Club Optimists, and/or Tackers Boats.
