Total Distance: ~100 km
Terrain: Dirt roads, forestry tracks, hill climbs, single 4WD track
Difficulty: Level 3 – suitable for riders with solid ADV skills and comfort on loose surfaces
Recommended Bikes: Mid‑size & large ADV bikes.
This adventure ride takes you from Wesburn deep into the Yarra Ranges, following forest roads, gravel climbs, and sections of narrow 4WD track before dropping into Reefton for lunch. The outbound leg is the harder half, with more climbs and technical terrain.
The return route is faster, smoother, and mostly descending, making for an enjoyable and flowing run back to Wesburn.
This is a perfect Level 3 ride: not extreme, but definitely not beginner territory.
