Jewish Championships 2026 – Huntingdale Golf Club

Maccabi Victoria Golf Club is delighted to announce that the 2026 Jewish Championships will be held at the magnificent Huntingdale Golf Club on Monday, 31 August 2026.

This year's Championships promise to be one of the most anticipated events on our calendar. For many golfers, it will be their first opportunity to experience Huntingdale since its extensive redesign and transformation into a stunning new layout. The course has received widespread acclaim, and this event presents a unique opportunity to play one of Australia's most prestigious Sandbelt golf courses.

For many golfers who are not members of Huntingdale, this may be the only opportunity to play Huntingdale for some time.

The Jewish Championships have long been regarded as the premier event on the Maccabi Victoria Golf calendar. They bring together golfers from across our community to compete, reconnect, and celebrate Jewish golf in a spirit of friendship, competition and camaraderie.

As we all know, golf participation continues to grow rapidly and access to member-based golf clubs on weekends has become increasingly difficult. We are therefore extremely grateful to Huntingdale Golf Club for granting Maccabi Golf exclusive use of the entire course for the day, allowing us to accommodate as many players as possible.

To cater for the expected demand, the event will feature both morning and afternoon shotgun starts, enabling up to 216 golfers to participate across the day.

Shotgun start – am and pm

Format
Morning Field - 8am Shotgun Start
- Individual Stableford (A, B & C Grades)
- Maximum 108 players

Afternoon Field - 12:45pm Shotgun Start
- Individual Stableford (A, B & C Grades)
- Individual Strokeplay Jewish Championship (GA Handicap 10 and below)
- Maximum 108 players

The Individual Stableford competition will be an overall all-day event (whether you play in the morning or afternoon) but there will be prizes for the morning and afternoon division winners as well.

The Strokeplay event will determine this years Jewish Golfer Champion and will be played in the afternoon only.

These competitors will also be in the Stableford competition.

We will also have prizes for the Under 40 Next Gen group across the day as above
