ROUND 1:

Bolts 7 - 14 Hawks

After a blistering first half from the Hawks, the Bolts clawed their way back to respectable score line, finishing second place in the highly anticipated grand final rematch. Notable mentions to KC Wronger and Dylan Jacobson who enjoyed a try fest between them and Sarah Vanessa for her exemplary leadership in locking up the three points.

South Sydney Rabbi-Toes 17 - 0 YSNP

After getting in touch with their regional and religious roots the South Sydney Rabbi-Toes started their new season with their new name in style, coming out dominant victors over the indefatigable YSNP. Again it was a clinic from Dylan Jacobson and the cool heads of Sam Sacks, Adam Katz and Beck Modo which proved the difference.

ROUND 2:

Bolts 4 - 12 South Sydney Rabbi-Toes:

After another clinic from Adam Katz and Sam Sacks, the Bolts struggled to shut down the structured execution of South Sydney's plays through the middle. Boosted by the return of Ollie Karras and the purple patch of Dylan Jacobson the Rabbi-Toes were too strong for the Bolts side still finding their feet in this Winter comp.

Hawks 20 - 5 YSNP:

Sarah Vanessa and her team once again demonstrated their intentions for this competition with a resounding win against YSNP. KC Wronger produced another agility masterclass playing an integral role in many of the Hawks' tries. That is not to say that YSNP did not have moments of brilliant of their own with Daniel Choppenzbabs getting the most run metres of the match and Jodi Velik putting in an inspired performance of her own.

ROUND 3 PREVIEW:

Bolts Vs. Rabbi-toes:

You could even call this a Bolts v Bolts match up with the Rabbi-toes posting numerous bolts players including co-founder, Ollie Karras and club veteran, Dylan Jacobson. However, in an interview with Dylan became very clear that there was no love lost for the Bolts and he fully expects a tight and hotly contested match up!

Hawks Vs. YSNP:

The Hawks look as strong and as fast as ever, but with some light signings the Hawks are about to get a lot stronger. The additions of Mimi Reed and co. gives the Hawks so much needed numbers as well and a could handy girls to bolster the attack! On the other hand YSNP, Who last summer will paint as competition favourites, now seemingly don’t have the same pressure on themselves and they did last summer, it will be interesting to see if they can thrive under their new environment.
