Round 5 Sports Lab MVP

Published Wed 02 Dec 2020

In one of the greatest performances of her illustrious touch football career, Hayley Chester (Bolts) was the unanimous Sports Lab – Double Bay MVP for Round 5. Not only did she score a hat-rick of tries, displaying supreme skill and speed but Hayley's defence also proved to be impenetrable as her Bolts conceded only three tries.

Notable mentions:

Nathan Raber

(Manly Segals) despite an injury late in his game, Nathan showcased electric speed and in an Adam Katz-less Segals, spearheaded their defence as they secured a win against The Untouchables. Raber showed his superb defensive acumen by continually shutting down the opposition’s drive and making a multitude of try saving touches!

Ollie Karras:

(Manly Segals) continued his outstanding run of form this season, this time after refereeing two games before his 6pm clash against Untouchables. The indefatigable Karras jnr steered his side around the park with aplomb and showed no signs of fatigue after his two stints of officiating.
