Hawks 12- 12 Bolts

Fresh off their first win last week, Bolts were out for redemption against a Hawks side who dominated them in week one of the competition. After getting out to an early lead, Bolts looked to apply a bit of pressure on the competition leaders from the outset before Hawks star player KC Wronger arrived to level the game. With the lead swinging back and forth between both sides, Hawks were boosted by the formidable debuts of Liv Warrand, Mimi Reed and Emerson Ovenden all providing speed and initiative against the stalwart Bolts. A hat-trick from Michael Coppola all but look to seal the result for Hawks before a diving try to Lauren Phillips in the dying minutes levelled game and split the points evenly between to the two sides... Both teams with everything to play for in the next two weeks.

South Sydney Rabbi-Toes 10 - 10 YSNP

The storyline of this week definitely belongs to everyone's second favourite team in this competition... YSNP. With a full strength side, YSNP showed off their true potential inspired by the dazzling performances of Maccabi Touch power couple Marc Jocum and Nat Manor. With arguably the play of the match, Nat scored a miraculous solo try, finished by a dive in the corner which seemed enough to almost secure YSNP's first win of the season. It was however not long before the experience and calmness of Adam Katz, Dylan Jacobson, Kat Jansen and Sam Sacks enabled to Rabbi(t)'s to take control of the game and claw their way to back to a deserving draw. Special mention to Ollie Karras for so selflessly providing everyone with a free display of his hidden talent acrobatic diving. His reckless indifference for his own body should be an inspiration to us all...
