Maccabi-Hakoah's veteran Over-45s team maintained its unbeaten run with a hard-fought, come-from-behind 2-1 win over Randwick City two weeks ago. 

Goals to Simon Briggs and Yossi Stern sealed the points.

The team had reached the half-way point of the season with five wins and two draws to remain on top of the table.

Goalkeeper John Kertesz was in fine form and was only beaten this week by a perfect penalty kick. Others continuing to shine include captain Alan Machet, new signing Simon Palan and reliable defender Avi Machlin.
