NSW Tenpin: Week 13 Season 1 2022

Week 13 saw the top of the leaderboard tighten up. Oldies are still leading the way on 83 points. School Daze however are now only 2 points back on 81 while Swannies are continuing their late charge moving into third on 75 points.

 

Rolling Stones won a nice 7-2 result over Let’s Roll. For Rolling Stones, Brian Doobov bowling on his own produced two fantastic games of 201 & 187 (52 & 38 over avg) to set up the win. Alexander Itzkowitz bowled one game over average and won the second game.

 

Blue Heelers were bowling the blind score this week and came away with the equal best performance with 9 points. Michael Eisenstein bowling a nice 155 (16 over avg) in the last game while Naomi Baram was a model of consistency with all 3 games over average of 169, 168 & 158 (16, 15 & 5 over avg).

 

Mean Machine came away with a 8-0 win over Nubees. For Mean Machine, Myer Zamek bowled a nice 169 (18 over avg) in the first game while Mark Katz bowled a pair of 157s (15 over avg) in the second and third to help take all the games and series.

 

Oldies won a good match 7-3 over Highland Warriors. For Highland Warriors, both Howard Silver and Peter Jablonka bowled one game over average while for Oldies, Patricia Levy bowling on her own produced two excellent games of 155 & 136 (34 & 15 over avg) to set up the win.

 

Swannies produced the equal best performance of the week with a 9-1 win over Searoos. Tony Faust for Searoos bowling by himself bowled a nice first game of 157 (12 over avg). However Ronnie Lang once again raised the bar, beating his scratch series from last week with a staggering 704 which was 116 over avg (Star Bowler of the Week - Series). His three games consisted of 246, 247 & 211 (50, 51 & 15 over avg).

 

Schmootz won a good 7-3 win over Bubba Zeida. Phillip Levy on his own bowling one game over average, but it was the Star Bowler of the Week - Game performance with a 213 (56 over avg) in the last. Peter Israelski on his own for Schmootz bowled all three games over average including a 180 & 172 (24 & 16 over avg) to set up the win.

 

Manis Manis won an equal best win of the night 9-0 over Ring of Fire. Lilik Passman for Manis Manis bowled all three games over average which included a nice 149 (28 over avg) in the last game. For Ring of Fire, Billy Schnapp bowled a good 159 (22 over avg) in the second game.

 

The Mighty Underdogs won 8-0 over Two Can Tango. For The Mighty Underdogs, Natai Hanouka bowled a very nice 201 (13 over avg) in the second game while teammate Ari Baram bowled a 174 (23 over avg) in the second game as well.

 

School Daze came away with a 7-3 win over The Incredibles. Howard Baram bowling on his own this week for School Daze set up the win in games one and three with a 200 & 192 (32 & 24 over avg). For The Incredibles, Ricky Kremer bowled a nice 129 (10 over avg) in the last game while Dina Kremer bowled a 13 over average game of 98 in the second game to get the win in that game.
