NSW Tenpin: Week 11 Season 1 2022

After a two week break, Maccabi bowling has returned and once again at the top of the leaderboard it is very close. Two Can Tango and School Daze are tied for first on 67 points while Oldies are only one point further back on 66.

 

Bubba Zeida recorded a nice 6-2 win over the Mighty Underdogs. Phillip Levy bowling on his own was able to win the first two games with two over average games to help take the overall series for Bubba Zeida. Natai Hanouka for The Mighty Underdogs bowled a nice 196 (5 over avg) in the last game to win the game.

 

Two Can Tango eked out a 6-5 result over The Incredibles despite losing the overall series. For The Incredibles, Ricky Kremer bowled two nice games of 141 & 133 (21 & 13 over avg) while Dina Kremer bowled a solid 104 (20 over avg) in the first to help set up the series win. Michael Horrowitz bowling on his own for Two Can Tango bowled two very nice games of 129 & 130 (18 & 19 over avg) and winning the last two games The Incredibles won the series by just 8 pins.

 

Let’s Roll recorded a good 7-4 win over School Daze. Howard Baram bowling on his own bowled a great first and third game of 183 & 199 (16 and 32 over avg). For Let’s Roll, Danny Hough bowled two over average games which included an excellent 147 (25 over avg) in the last, while Alexander Itzkowitz bowled a nice 116 (16 over avg) in the first. Let’s Roll won the series by just 3 pins.

 

Mean Machine took out a close 6-4 win over Blue Heelers despite also losing the series. For Mean Machine, Myer Zamek bowled a very nice last two games of 171 and 168 (20 & 17 over avg) to help take the last two games. For Blue Heelers, Naomi Baram bowled a fantastic 214 (63 over avg) in the first game which helped take the game and the series.

 

Nubees took a nice 6-3 win over Searoos. In a one-on-one battle, Deidre Libbert for Nubees won games one and three and the series with a nice 150 (18 over avg) in the last game while Tony Faust for Searoos bowling a 155 (11 over avg) in the second game to win that game.

 

Harvey Sharpe bowling all on his own this week unfortunately was unable to win any points this week against the blind scores.

 

The Lads came away with a tight 6-5 win over Highland Warriors. For Highland Warriors, Howard Silver bowled a nice second game of 156 (19 over avg) while Peter Jablonka produced a brilliant first game of 202 (38 over avg), For The Lads, Roy Zurnamer bowled a nice 2nd game of 96 (17 over avg) while Nathan Radzevicius produced a nice games two and tree with a 113 & 115 (20 & 22 over avg).

 

Justin Kennedy was all on his own this week for Swannies bowling against the blind and was able to come away with 8 points which was the equal top points performance of the week. 3 solid games which included a 206 (10 over avg) in the first was enough to take all the games and series.

 

Schmootz was able to come away with the other top points effort of the week, an 8-3 win over Oldies. In a top performance across the board for both teams, Patricia Levy was the Star Bowler of the Week - Game with a fantastic 183 (64 over avg) in the second game, while for Schmootz, Harry Sussman bowled two good games in the first and third of 150 & 155 (18 & 23 over avg). However Peter Israelski was the Star Bowler of the Week - Series with a brilliant 528 series (63 over avg) which included three over average games of 179, 180 & 169 (24, 25 & 14 over avg).
