NSW Tenpin: Week 10 Season 1 2022

Maccabi Tenpin Week 10 saw a change at the top of the ladder once again. Oldies and School Daze are tied at the top on 63 points with Two Can Tango close behind in third on 61 points.

 

Oldies came away with a hard fought 8-5 win over Nubees. Deidre Libbert for Nubees bowled all three games over average which included an outstanding 176 (47 over avg) in the second game. Patricia Levy bowled two games over average but Raymond Meinrath was the Star of the Week - Series bowling a 452 (83 over avg) for his three games which included a 155 & 162 (32 & 39 over avg).

 

Blue Heelers came away with a 7-3 win over Bubba Zeida. For Bubba Zeida, Phillip Levy bowling on his own bowled an excellent 185 (27 over avg) in the third game. For Blue Heelers, both Michael Eisenstein and Naomi Baram bowled well throughout to take 2 games and the series.

 

Ring of Fire recorded a 7-3 win over The Lads. For Ring of Fire, Billy Schnapp bowled a couple of games over average which included a nice 166 (31 over avg) while Roy Zurnamer for The Lads bowled a nice 107 (28 over avg) in the last game.

 

Searoos also recorded a 7-3 win over Let’s Roll. For Searoos, Tony Faust saved his best for last bowling the Star of the Week - Game with a brilliant 205 (63 over avg). Solid bowling from Sylvia Walters ensured Searoos walked away with the win.

 

School Daze bowling against their blinds were able to take 9 points this week. Kerri Schwartz bowling two games over average and Howard Baram bowling a very nice 190 (23 over avg) in the third game to take all but 1 point this week.

 

Swannies recorded a near perfect 9-0 win over The Incredibles. Ronnie Lang bowled a fantastic second game of 249 (59 over avg) while Justin Kennedy bowled an even better 254 (60 over avg) in the first game. Both Ronnie and Justin recording 600+ for the series.

 

Mean Machine won 6-3 over Schmootz. Mark Katz starred for Mean Machine with a great first game of 182 (43 over avg) while Harry Sussman for Schmootz bowled a nice 156 (24 over avg) in the first game as well.

 

Two Can Tango recorded a perfect 10-0 result over Rolling Stones. For Two can Tango, Michael Horrowitz with two over average games was helped by Tomer Aston who bowled 2 very nice games of 153 & 145 (33 & 25 over avg).

 

Highland Warriors also produced a perfect 10-0 result over The Mighty Underdogs. Despite Ari Baram for The Mighty Underdogs bowling all three games over average, Howard Silver also bowled all three games over average of 156, 155 & 168 (22, 21 & 34 over avg). This and consistent bowling from Peter Jablonka helped take all the points this week.
