Whether you have a powerboat, sailing boat, jet ski or kayak, you’re welcome to join the day. Make your own way across the Gippsland Lakes and meet up with everyone in Paynesville for lunch at the Paynesville Hotel at 12:00pm.
No racing, no competition and no need to have the biggest or fastest boat. This one is simply about getting out on the water and enjoying the Gippsland Lakes together.

Each skipper/operator remains responsible for:
-
The seaworthiness and safe operation of their vessel
-
Carrying the safety equipment required for their vessel and operating area
-
Ensuring appropriate lifejackets/PFDs are available and worn when required
-
Checking fuel, batteries, engine and essential vessel systems before departure
-
Checking weather, wind and water conditions before setting out
-
Holding the appropriate marine licence and vessel registration where required
-
The safety and behaviour of passengers aboard their vessel
-
Deciding whether the conditions are appropriate for their vessel and their own level of experience
Safety always comes first. If the conditions aren't suitable for you or your vessel on the day, don't feel you have to make the trip by water.
You can always drive around and join us for lunch at Paynesville Hotel at 12:00pm.
