The Department of Local Government Sport, Leisure and Cultural Industries, Leisure Institute of Western Australia Aquatics, Royal Life Saving Society WA and the Shire of Gingin would like to invite aquatic managers and shire staff across the Wheatbelt and Mid Northern Region of  WA to attend the Annual Regional WA Aquatic Recreation Seminar.

The event will highlight issues relevant to aquatic centers in the region. It also provides a great opportunity to share the knowledge and information that exists throughout the regions and the aquatic industry.

LIWA Aquatics with its industry partners, Royal Life Saving and the Department of Local Governement Sport, Leisure and Cultural Industries, are aware of the critical need to provide professional development opportunities in regional areas. It is important that both local and global issues are discussed and networks are developed and maintained.

As managers we need to ensure that our aquatic facilities remain the focal point of our community. It is very hard to achieve this in isolation – we must work together and Maintain the Network.
