Membership Applications

Membership of Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club runs from 1st of August each year to the 31st of July the following year.  The club is affiliated with sailing's peak body, Australian Sailing, and the membership fees paid to LCSC include a component to cover the club's annual affiliation fee to Australian Sailing.  In return, club members are covered by Australian Sailing's personal accident insurance.  They are also eligible to compete in regattas endorsed by Australian Sailing and have access to a wide range of training and other online resources.  More details of the benefits associated with being affiliated with Australian Sailing can be found at Club Affiliation - Australian Sailing - Resources.

Applications for membership of LCSC for the 2025 - 2026 season can be submitted by clicking below on “Returning Member” for anyone who already has an Australian Sailing number, or “New Member” if this is the first time you've ever joined a sailing club.  To complete the online application, renewing/returning members will need their AS Number, name and DOB to complete the application process.  If you don't know what your AS number is, you can check at https://www.sailing.org.au/member-finder/.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES

This year, we have introduced additional categories of family membership.  This has been done in order to provide incentives for families large and small to join our club and enjoy the wonderful lifestyle that accompanies the sport of sailing.  To apply for family membership please follow the process below: 

1. 1. Register the primary adult by selecting either the "Returning Member" or "New Member" option (whichever is relevant) and then selecting and paying for the family membership package that best suits your circumstances. 
   2. If relevant, follow the process in (1) above to add a second adult but this time select the membership option "Family membership - adult 2".  This is a no cost option.
   3. Similarly, you can then add one or more children to your family membership by following the same process and selecting the membership option "Family membership - additional child".  Do this for each child to be added to your membership, again at no addtional cost.
   4.  Finally, link all family members to the primary adult member by ticking the box at the bottom of each person's form.

Please note that debit/credit card payments attract additional charges imposed by our payment provider.  The actual charges will be displayed before you process your payment.

Unlike previous years, any applications for boat storage are being handled separately to the membership application process.  To enquire about boat storage please contact the club secretary on secretary@lcsc.org.au.  Your enquiry will be passed on to the boat storage officer who will then contact you directly.
