Join us as a panel of the club's members discuss their experiences in the world famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.  There will be some lively discussion around the fun and not so fun moments in this iconic race.
This is your chance to hear first hand from our members who started their sailing careers as juniors at the club and how they became involved in this race and their experiences over the years of competing.

Enjoy a pasta dinner, wine , beer or soft drink set in a relaxed atmosphere at the club.

LC12ftSSC has been fortunate to have been offered four (4) half scholarship places to the CYCA Youth Sailing courses.  The acedemy's fleet of ten identical Elliot 7 metre yachts were purchased to support the Youth Sailing Academy and young sailors for entry into keel boat racing and ocean racing.  If you are interested in one of these scholarships please contact your respective Class Secretary, you need to be between the ages of 13 years and 17 years old and can demonstrate the following qualities: potential to become a talented sailor, commitment to the sport, good sportsmanship and potential to act as excellent ambassadors for LC12ftSSC and the CYCA.

The courses are conducted durring school holidays and teach the basics of sailing through to elementary fleet racing, simple tactics and the strategy of racing.  Dates:
