Largs Bay Youth Development Fund

Our Junior and Youth Development Programs are conducted to introduce new children and families to the sport of sailing and also to develop and enhance the skills of those who are already involved in our sport.  The club has a fleet of Optimist dinghies that are used by our instructors to take children afloat and experience and learn to sail.
We would like to use this fundraising initiative to continue to be able supply sailing and safety equipment and provide for continued and improved training facilities.
Please make a tax deductible donaton today to help us provide our young members with access to the equipment they need to participate in our great sport.  If you are able to assist by making a tax-deductable donation click here to Donate to our Youth Development Fund

Safety Boat Replacement Fund

Largs Bay Sailing Club is a community based, volunteer run Sailing Club. The club conducts summer Saturday sailing competitions for all ages and skill levels and all dinghy, catamaran and trailerable yacht classes. We have a strong focus on junior training for those new to sailing and youth coaching for sailors wanting to improve their skills.  The club also regularly hosts National and State Championship Regattas for Australian Class Associations.
In mid-February 2020 our Race Committee Boat burst into flames and was destroyed by fire when it was being launched.  We suspect the fire was caused by a fuel leak or an electrical fault under the floor boards. Fortunately our club volunteers evacuated straight away and were not injured.
We need to replace this boat so that we can continue to deliver professional race management and we seek your financial support to assist us to purchase and fit-out a suitable replacement vessel.
