Welcome to Silver Salties.

We welcome adults over 65 to join us for time in nature, getting active and chatting.  Actually if you have friends or relatives you'd like to bring who younger than 65 they are very welcome too.

To enjoy a dip, frolic or swim at Kingston Beach on Wednesday mornings please join us at 9.30am.  We meet at mid-beach at the bottom of the access ramp.  This is right in front of the amenities block for ease of getting changed.  This area has recently been upgraded by the council so there are plenty of tables and benches between the car park and the beach to gather if you are early.

Your activity leader is Sandra Gatsby.  She has silvery grey hair and is friendly and welcoming to both new and returning Silver Salties.  She has long experience within our club with beginner as well as more experienced swimmers.

You will just need your swimmers and a towel.  If you have any other swimming things like goggles, a cap, a warm top or wetsuit you are welcome to bring those also.  It is always wise to bring a dry and warm change of clothes for afterwards.

If there are any keen post-swim coffee drinkers then it is an easy stroll down to a choice of cafes.
