What a terrific time we all had at Auschamps in Bokarina Qld in April. To see so many paddlers compete at such a high standard was very inspiring. It was a thrill to see Julie Kozaris rewarded for all her hard work and come away with GOLD as part of the Vic26 team!! An added bonus was the support we received from Jane Griffin & her sister Dinah. Jane is a founding member of the KDBCP who has retired to Queensland. It was smiles all around as she cheered us on with her cow bell for 3 days of racing!!

AusChamps 2027 will be in Adelaide, South Australia in April. Plans are already being prepared. We’re looking for early interest from all paddlers so we can plan accommodation & carpooling. We would love to submit an Open team as well as the mixed & womens. Speak to Coach Karen or any of the team members that went this year.

Tryouts for the Vic27 team will start Sept/October. Watch out for the dates.
