We will be practicing drills that improve your boat handling skills and introduce you to the tricks of nailing a start. We will also play lots of fun games and learn about sailing in an off the beach environment right infront of the Clubhouse on Main beach. Parents are encouraged to relax in the Cafe overlooking the sailing area and if you don't mind getting wet- help launching and retrieving the boats is much appreciated. Sailors do not need to own their own boat as KBSC owns a fleet of junior boats that will be available during Green Fleet training .

Training Times

Sunday Mornings (during school terms) Please arrive at the Club at 8:30am to be rigged and ready for a briefing at 9am before heading out on the water. Training will finish after a Debrief at approximately 11am

Eligibility

- Completed Tackers 3 or equivalent

-must regularly attend training sessions

- Must be a financial Junior Sailing member of KBSC

Entitlements

- Green Fleet Rashie payment of fees

-Use of KBSC training boat

-approx 32 training session per year  - Try Racing Days additional costs apply
