“Coast to Pool: City of Karratha Aquatic Expo”

Karratha Water Polo Association is proud to host the Coast to Pool: City of Karratha Aquatic Expo, a free community “Come and Try” event showcasing the wide variety of aquatic sports available across the Karratha and Dampier region.

Date: Saturday, 20th September 2025

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Venue: Karratha Leisureplex, 50m Pool

Cost: Free for everyone

This interactive event invites families, juniors, teens, and adults from across Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Point Samson, and surrounding communities to get in the water and experience a range of sports in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

Sports on Offer:

·       Water Polo – Senior, Junior & Flippa Ball

·       Surf Life Saving – with Dampier Surf Life Saving Club

·       Underwater Hockey & Underwater Rugby

·       Swimming – with Karratha Amateur Swimming Club

Participants can rotate between stations, try as many sports as they like, and meet friendly coaches and members who will provide guidance, equipment, and information about ongoing programs.

Key Information:

• Leisureplex pool rules apply
• Parental supervision is required for children
• Level 5 swimming ability is required for water polo and deep-water activities
