The 2023 Judo Australia National Championships will be held at the Gold Coast Sport & Leisure Centre in Carrara, from 9 - 12 June 2023.

Eligibility to Register

It's important to note that in order to participate in the 2023 Australian National Championships as a member of the Judo WA State Team, athletes must be current members of a Judo WA Affiliated Club. This ensures that all athletes are properly trained and licensed under the guidelines of Judo WA and are eligible to compete at the National level. We encourage all interested athletes to contact their local Judo WA Affiliated Club for more information on how to become a member and register for the State Team.

Fees

Judo Australia charges a fee of $80 (inc. GST) per entry, which is a requirement for all athletes competing in the National Championships. In addition to this, Judo WA charges a State Team Fee of $130 (inc. GST) per athlete.

The State Team Fee is necessary to cover the costs associated with the State Team's administrative tasks, including the Judo WA Team registration fees, subsidies for State Team Coaches and Managers, and expenses related to the delivery of the State Training Sessions held before the National Championships. These fees allow us to ensure that our athletes are well-prepared and supported in their journey towards the National Championships.

We understand that these fees may represent a significant investment for some athletes and their families, but we believe that they are essential to providing the best possible experience for our State Team members. We are committed to ensuring that our athletes have the resources and support they need to perform at their best in the National Championships.
