Hi everyone

We’re calling on our amazing volunteers once again to help set up and run the 2025 Adelaide International Open!

This year’s event is on Saturday 23 August 2025 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre, Lightsview. Set-up will be the night before: Friday 22 August 2025 – from 6:00pm (Courts 1 & 2)

If you’ve volunteered at previous JudoSA events, especially last year’s AIO, we truly appreciate your support and hope you can join us again. New volunteers are also welcome, so feel free to bring a friend!

• Smoothcomp - Kata

🙌 How You Can Help

Please email events@judosa.com.au with your availability and the roles you can assist with:

• Mat Setup – Friday 22/8 from 6:00pm

• Weigh-In – Friday 22/8 (6:00–7:30pm) and/or Saturday 23/8 (7:30–8:00am)

  • We need 1 female and 1 male volunteer (WWCC required) If you haven’t done this before that is OK because an experienced person will be with you

• Judogi Control – Saturday 23/8 from 9:00am (at warm-up area)

• Mat Marshal – Saturday 23/8 from 9:00am (at warm-up area)

• Welcome Table – Saturday 23/8 from 9:00am (greeting and assisting visitors)

• Scoring & Timing – Saturday 23/8 from 9:00am (training provided, similar to Smoothcomp)

📍 Venue Access: The Lights will be open from 7:30am on Saturday.
🎤 Official Opening: 9:00am, Saturday 23 August 2025.
